    Habits and commitments
    focus
    Support from others

    Structure and daily activities

Are you ready?

Come to dive!

1. Don't say "I have to" and instead of "I have to go"

The words you use when you speak to yourself are important. They determine your attitude.

Say to yourself: "Today I have to work on this assignment" will create feelings of stress and frustration.

Try saying to yourself: "Today I am on this assignment. Well, or you can always ask for help essay writer online" This will remind you that education is a privilege.

This simple attitude change will help you become more motivated and focused on your work.

2. Fully responsible for your own learning

When you take responsibility for your learning, you become more proactive and confident.

One way to make a change in this matter is to ask yourself: "If I'm not responsible for my learning, who would be?"

Asking this question to yourself will help you realize that no one is responsible for your learning, not your teacher and not your parent.

3. Do more than what other people are willing to do.

Academically, like in other areas of human effort - a talented student is someone who is ready to go the extra mile.

Instead of following the bare minimum requirements, doing more than what others are willing to do.

This may mean making two or three more questions than the teacher assigned.

It may mean searching for additional resources or it might mean final proofreading your essay.

4. Don't give too much importance to the score.

As a student, it is easy to focus on grades.

But remember that scores are just a form of feedback. They do not end in themselves.

Don't focus on points that will make you forget that it's a learning process that counts in the long run.

5. Look at the challenges positively.

The challenge

When you learn something new, you tend to feel overwhelmed.

This is why you need to develop what Dr Carol Dweck calls "growth ideas."

This means that instead of telling yourself that there is something "too difficult", you tell yourself that it is an opportunity to "grow" your brain.

In the end, the more challenges you face, the more you learn.

6. Write 3 to 5 reasons why you want to do academic well.

The key to success as a student is to clearly explain why you want to succeed.

As Jim Rohn once said: "If you have enough reasons, you can do the most incredible things."

Write 3 to 5 reasons why you want to study at school and read the program everyday.

7. Volunteer and service others regularly.

This will remind you that education never happens in a vacuum. Education is often about learning from others or transferring that knowledge to others.

By volunteering and serving others, you will begin to see that your life is not primarily about you. It's about using your skills and knowledge to make the world a better place.

On the other hand, this will give you the encouragement to persevere in the midst of obstacles.

8. Revive your focus by asking these two questions ...

The first question is: "What is important now?"

The second question is "What's next?"

Lack of concentration often results from trying too many things at the same time.

When you find yourself unable to focus, these two questions will bring you back to the present.
