Yoga Teacher Pay - What Does a Yoga Teacher Earn?

"Can I earn a living as a Yoga teacher?" is a question we frequently hear from students and potential trainees. Of course, the easy answer is yes, but we won't deny that earning a yoga instructor income might be difficult. Our teacher training goes into greater depth and complexity, but here is a brief and accessible introduction to being a competent more here-on yoga teacher.

Yoga Teacher Pay: What Does a Yoga Teacher Earn?

Please make an effort to think outside the box when it comes to your strategy.

The days of just mailing a résumé and waiting for a call for an interview are long gone. Create a brand around what you enjoy. Create software that fills a void. Then you'll need to locate someone to sell it to. You'd be shocked how often a studio or gym will say yes simply because you asked.

Don't be afraid to speak up.

Don't be scared to connect with other instructors and put yourself out there. After class, introduce yourself. Make a social media connection with them. Make it clear that you're a teacher. Be genuine in your support for their attempts as well. It will be returned to you at some point.

Yoga is something you should do.

Take advantage of several studios' new student promotions in your region. This way, you can get a sense of the studio's feel and select one that suits you. Volunteer in your new house once you've discovered it. It's a terrific way to jump right into their network, and you receive free lessons as well. It's also a means to practice Seva or selfless service. You'll be substituting courses and eventually having your own before you know it.

Participate in social media.

This can be entertaining, but it may also be time-consuming. You should join Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, and Tumblr if you haven't already. Whether you like it or not, it's the only way to remain in touch with students, colleagues, and future clients. The most important thing is to be connected and consistent.

Clients who are not public.

Set your focus on private clients in addition to taking classes. Not only is it more profitable, but you also create a personal relationship with your clients, which frequently leads to them referring you to their friends, which is the most effective kind of promotion!

Patience is required.

When the bills come in, we know it's easier said than done. It takes time and effort to build a community and a brand. Yes, you may need to retain your full-time job or work part-time at a gym or studio where you also teach at first, but if you are passionate about what you do, it will all work out in the end, and you will be on your way to earning the yoga teacher salary you've always wanted!
